Used writing instruments recycling

Ellie's Fund accepts all writing instruments except wood, wax and chalk including:

• Any brand of pen
• Any brand of felt tip
• Any brand of highlighter
• Any brand of marker
• Any brand of correction fluid pot (such as tippex)
• Mechanical pencils
• Eraser pens

You need to collect at least 15kg of used writing instruments before these can be posted which is at least 1,700 items (not including packaging).

There is also a maximum limit of 25kg per parcel (including packaging). If you collect less than 15kg worth of used writing instruments please bring them to the BTRS shop at No 31, Otley Road, Headingely, Leeds, LS6 1AA if you're local, or take a look at our different drop-off points throughout the UK here.

If you collect 15kg or more, please parcel them up and email recycling@elliesfund.com to get hold of a free postage label.
