Nicola's London Marathon Challenge!

Tue 27 March

Following the loss of her close friend Ross Phillips in November 2017 to a brain tumour, Nicola Cope has decided to take on the incredible London Marathon challenge to raise funds for BTRS.
We all have inspirational friends in our lives and Ross Phillips will always be one of Nicola’s.

He was strong both physically and mentally and showed such courage and determination in all that he did. Ross fought his biggest battle in 2017 when this fit firefighter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. For eight months, Ross fought incredibly hard with the support and care of his wife and two children. However, tragically in November surrounded by his loved ones, Ross passed away.

Ross took each day at a time and as with everything that he did over his 54 years, he showed such courage and bravery.

In memory of this incredibly special man, Nicola will be running 26.2 miles on Sunday 22nd April in the London Marathon for BTRS.
