David Garbutt

David Garbutt's third entertainment evening for BTRS

Tue 27 June

David has raised over £1,900 over the last 3 years
David Garbutt and his team of supporters held a music night at Swillington Miners Welfare Club on 10 June 2017 to raise vital funds for BTRS.  The event raised £328.00.

The evening included two comedy acts as well as star of The Voice and the West End Phantom of the Opera, Benjamin Lake.  There was also live music, entertainment, a grand raffle and bingo.

David chose to support BTRS as his daughter Dawn was diagnosed with a brain tumour just five years ago in her mid thirties and so this is a charity close to his heart.

David said  "I decided to concentrate my efforts with BTRS mainly because my daughter Dawn asked me to because she had a Benign Meningioma in 2011, before this I was switching between various charities."

This follows on from 2 previous years of events bringing the grand total to £1,989.01!  Thank you for all your support.
