about our network
Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire is proud to work with 18 other UK brain tumour charities under the banner Brain Tumour Research. The charities collaborate and work together to improve the general standard of care for all brain tumour patients and support the ethos of sharing information and resources.
We also work with the International Brain Tumour Alliance, sharing information and support across the world.
An important and useful website has been created for high grade brain tumour patients. Please visit Brain Tumour Buddies it is a free resource and contains a forum, links and tons of relevant information.
All the charities are rallying the support of MP's, organising fundraising activities up and down the country, and engaging their local press and radio stations to promote awareness.
We also support the BTR Parliamentary lobbying group of charities that is working so hard to make brain tumour patient's and charity rights heard. Organised by Sue Farrington Smith of Brain Tumour Research and Ali’s Dream and her MP John Bercow (Buckingham) they have demonstrated what great progress can be achieved in a short space of time.
