Vintage Japanese Motorbike Club continue to raise funds at their annual bike show

Thu 23 October

The Vintage Japanese Motorbike Club (VJMC) West Yorkshire raised an additional £2800 at their annual motorbike event at Lotherton Hall
The VJMC is the UK's premier club for Japanese bikes which are fifteen years old and over. The club was founded in 1982 by a small group of like minded enthusiasts, who appreciated early Japanese bikes, their style, reliability, practicality and technological achievements.
VJMC West Yorkshire has supported BTRS since 2008 with their annual event at Lotherton Hall, which sees thousands of people from all across the UK attend to show their bikes, meet other bike enthusiasts and have a fun day with friends and family.
All of the money made at the event is donated to charities close to the hearts of the organisers. John and Jackie Millington chose BTRS as one of the charities as they were close to Andrea Key, who the charity was originally set up in memory of.
Over the years over £16,800 has been raised for BTRS through the Lotherton Hall event and this years event raised a staggering £2800.  Sorrell Coulson, Events and Fund Raising manager, was proud to be able to attend a cheque presentation at Healds Hall Hotel on 23/10/14.
A huge thank you to all at the VJMC West Yorkshire for the ongoing and dedicated support.
