A botanical watercolours exhibition was held at
RHS Garden Harlow Carr from 1st March to 12th March by Mark Edwards, with profits going to BTRS.
His wife, Sue Edwards, was a botanical illustrator, gardener and artist. When she was diagnosed with an aggresive brain tumour in April 2011 she vowed to use her artisitic talents to raise money for "her charity", Brain Tumour Research and Support across Yorkshire. Sadly, Sue died in March 2013, aged 57, leaving behind a large number of botanical and natural world watercolours.
Mark, with their daughter Gemma, has been displaying and selling cards, prints and originals from Sue's collection and has raised over £20,000 for BTRS. Thank you so much to Mark and his family and to everyone who has bought Sue's beautiful artwork.
